For Sale "Atlas" $7500
Pricing will be adjusted as training continues.
"Atlas" is a 6 year old 15.1 h.h., grade, solid bay, Appaloosa gelding.
Gorgeous horse, solid build, fully matured before being broke to ride, sound, lots of mane and tail, lots of try!
Atlas was born on a farm in central IL that raised all around working horses for many years and now reducing their numbers due to the owner retiring from raising horses. Atlas was shipped to my farm, loose in a stock trailer just last summer 2022 as an unhandled 5 year old. He was gelded the year prior 2021 as a 4 year old and shows zero signs of stallion behavior. I halter broke him and handled him some during the summer/fall of 2022 and then let him relax for the winter/spring with my herd until June of 2023. He has been handled routinely since June and is now being ridden and worked 3-4 days a week and coming along steadily. Atlas is a naturally kind but shy, type of horse and takes a slow, steady, cautious approach to new things. He is quiet, serious and shy but friendly and will bond with the people he spends time with. He pays close attention to whomever is working with him and tries hard to understand what is being asked of him. He has spent much time, patiently standing saddled and tied waiting his turn to be worked. He has been hauled to the vet office and full vaccinated and has a neg-coggins. He has been dewormed, sheath cleaned and receiving regular trims. He enjoys grooming time, appreciates fly spray and a cool bath in the summer after a good workout. He gets along with other horses in a herd situation. Atlas is an easy keeper, loves to eat and has never turned down any type of hay or grain that has been offered. Atlas will make the right person a very good partner one day. He is still a very green horse and paired with his shy personality, will only be sold to the appropriate person who is patient, knowledgeable and experienced in working with green horses. Atlas is welcome to continue his training at our facility, after he is purchased, should that be of interest to the buyer.

"June" is a Black 14.3 h.h. Registered Quarter Horse filly
D.O.B. April 8, 2022
Gorgeous filly will grow into a good-sized horse!
FQHR WHIZ BY COLONEL
Sire: Colonels Master Gun
Dam: FQHR Whiz By Two
June was raised by Lance and Sunshine Froelich, on the Froelich Ranch located in Selfridge, North Dakota.
As long-time breeders the Froelich Ranch is a part of the FQHR - Foundation Quarter Horse Registry.
June arrived at our facility in mid-July 2023. She is a good-sized yearling and I expect to see her grow to no less than 15.3 h.h. She has been caught, lead, rubbed, brushed, flagged and tied most mornings while she eats her grain and hay. She will now wait at the gate and approach me to be caught handled and tied. June is a friendly horse and shown herself to be levelheaded and trainable for a youngster. She will be handled more and begin her colt start preparation work this fall/winter. She will be working on basic groundwork and getting accustomed to wearing a saddle until she is a bit more physically mature and ready to carry the weight of a rider. We start ours a little later and go a bit slower here on our farm and in no hurry on this big, beautiful filly.
